About Neil

Headshot of Neil Sharples in FITNS Club kit.

Neil served for over 12 years in the British Army as an infantry soldier with The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers.

01 The Army years

His leadership skills were recognised early in his career, and he became one of the youngest modern-day Lance Corporals (LCpl) in the British Army at just 18 years old.

He later went on to serve at the Infantry Training Centre, Catterick, where he played a key role in training and developing thousands of recruits through basic infantry training, preparing them for life as professional soldiers and future deployments.

02 Ultra-endurance

Neil has a serious passion for fitness, performance and mental resilience. With a strong background across multiple areas of fitness, he has more recently pushed himself into the world of ultra-endurance — continually testing both his physical and mental limits.

100km 12-hour endurance race
160.8km Backyard Ultra
3:29 Marathon
80km GB Ultra MCR–LPL, in 9 hours
But for Neil, these challenges aren't simply about times and distances. They're about discovering what you're capable of when things get difficult — something heavily influenced by his years in the military.

03 FITNS Club today

Today, Neil is the owner of FITNS CLUB, a premium class based fitness studio, where he brings together his experience in leadership, fitness and mental resilience to help everyday people push beyond what they thought possible and become the strongest, most capable versions of themselves — both physically and mentally.

Away from the club, Neil is also a Lululemon ambassador.
